I think that the sollution can be found in the way an alcohol rehab works. This is very similar ot the true/false alarm test, but we should be aware that the new generation of CPUs will provide a lot of security against malware.

I would like to see an anti-spyware test next. Avast! and AVG have integrated spyware protection in their latest free versions. More and more vendors are doing this.

Antivirus self-protection test has been completed!

Of course Self-protection test because it is the most important one. Add to that, We haven't seen any test of it in any site !

We have already completed the self-protection test of 15 antivirus solutions.
The results will be published in the end of August.

The false alarm test
I'm planning to start the antivirus test for false alarm this summer. This kind of tests is not that easy how it seems. The right testing methodology is the guarantee of success. ;-)
